Oak veneer rough-cut - perfect for the upmarket interior design
The oak was often associated with the gods of thunder and lightning. The Celts and other northern peoples particularly valued the oak for its size, hardness and longevity. The decorative shape of the wood is characterised by ring-shaped arrangements of early wood vessels and sharply separated annual rings that produce striking figures or stripes in the longitudinal plane. The eye-catching elements typical of oak include the large and broad wood rays, which additionally enliven the appearance through split graining or spindles. The colour palette ranges from grey-yellow to light brown and dark brown.
