Sen veneer - ideal for upmarket interior fittings

Sen Furnier
Sen veneer

Long known in Europe, Sen hardwood originates from non-tropical forests in East Asia and is used as a decorative veneer or solid wood such as ash, elm or light oak due to its light and richly textured wood appearance.

Sen veneer or Japanese Ash Red Gum or Satin Walnut is a popular veneer. The wood colours range from reddish-brown to dark brown and can alternate within the log. The surface shimmers with a silky sheen when exposed to light. The Satin Walnut veneer is lightly scented in a vanilla tone. The veneer comes from non-tropical forests in East Asia.

Due to its light and richly textured presentation form, it is a particularly decorative veneer that impresses with its simplicity and is always popular. The colour is usually pale brownish. The annual rings of the Sen veneer stand out strongly.
