American walnut veneer - perfect for the upmarket interior design
The American walnut impresses with its brilliant, strong, grey-brown colour and its clearly pronounced structure. The sapwood and the heartwood are sharply separated. The sapwood is whitish and very narrow in forest trees, but very broad in free-standing trees. The heartwood has a beautiful, very dark brown colour in various shades. The texture has an almost silky sheen. The wood is heavy, hard, strong, durable and straight grained. American walnut is flexible and elastic.
Usage: It is particularly suitable for veneer production for upmarket interior design.
