Birch burl veneer
The birch burl veneer, also called Karelian burl birch veneer, is a unique growth form of the birch and leads to a decorative veneer appearance. The Mazurian or Karelian birch owes its burl formation, as experts assume, to a genetic predisposition or the soil conditions / site conditions. Due to the size of 50-150 cm, there are max. 3-4 packages per trunk. Firmly grown inclusions (budding growths) are characteristic of the one-sided grained birch and more or less regularly distributed over the attractive surface.
